I’ve said it before, MAKE RAILA head of Opposition by bringing him into Parliament. Then let the Govt side and the Opposition build the bridges. Otherwise forget them. If people do not know where the bridges are, what is to stop them crossing the river at their usual shallow points?

Punguza Mzigo seems to get it right in terms of Kenyan laws. BBI had a false start in law.

Useless process that was inspired by the desire to stop ruto from presidency and entrench dynasties in power in 2022 ensuring that they create positions that will be used to entice other leaders to support their greed for power.

What inclusivity are the greedy for power talking about? Is Kenya not a democracy? Are all ambitious leaders included in government in a democracy? Stupid. Winners form government as losers form opposition.

As it is now the best thing to do is to go back to single party rule.

When His Excellent Uhuru met Rt. Hon Raila. The country was in a bad shape. Any right thinking Kenyan knows that. At that time BBI was a good Idea then. The only problem is that it should have been more inclusive. That was a dangerous omission. The problem now is that it seems too late to be corrected.

The so called bad situation was a manufactured one and will still be manufactured in future by the poll losers. If we all embrace democracy, cognizant of the fact that it produces winners and losers, then will a better situation. It’s very ironical that the people that who agitated for introduction of democracy in this country are not ready to live the aspects of it.

The only cure is to have free and fair elections. The IEBC should have professional, competent and fairly appointed commissioners

Free and fair elections is very subjective, especially in the eyes of the loser. In civil societies, the decision whether an election is free and fair is the prerogative of the Supreme Court

BBI is solely about Kenya’s political dynasties and the retention and distribution of power at the top. Period.

If the BBI team goes ahead and insists on forcing down our throats the expensive and useless “Regional tier monster”, they will be very sorry. The ‘soon to be’ former governors should stop blackmailing baba to creat for them a landing pad.

BBI is about the two dynasties only. They don’t care about anybody or anything else. As long as they capture power at the top, that’s all that matters to them.

Building bridges initiatives are a total waste of time….it should be abandoned and the elderly geezers running it sent packing….why do I opine this????Because the best building bridges initiatives is ELECTING DR WILLIAM RUTO INTO OFFICE…..he will ensure all Kenyans are served properly and with dignity….he is our best bet collectively…..thanks

The writer misses the point by a mile. The only proposal the Blue Band Initiative (BBI) was told by the dynasties to put to referendum is the introduction of position of Executive Prime Minister and Ceremonial President. All other issues are red herrings, diversionary. We as wananci are waiting for this referendum to vote against it and defeat it.

One who hires cambridge analytica to stage everything then goes ahead to rig.One who listens to intelligence briefs that he only has the support of central Kenya and a few pockets in Nairobi, conditional support in parts of rift valley.

Who who listens to Kuttuny…”forget about agenda 4 and unite Kenyans, that is the only legacy you can”

BBI is non-inclusive abinitio…it appears to be between two persons and therefore dead before arrival. It’s another wastage of public resources (that’s if they meet officially at all). Why we always think in this country that everytime we have “good” intentions for the country we have to do them at the exclusion of others is something that can never be understood. What was difficult in ensuring that Ruto, Mudavadi, Kalonzo, Weta, Aukot, etc were part of BBI? I am yet to find a self-less politician in this country. One day when we get one (and we shall surely do as long as God remains
