Emtee isn't intimidated by international artists: I can do anything they can

The Roll Up star has worked with the likes of Trey Songz and Wizkid in the past, but said that he was not overwhelmed by the experiences.

“Nowadays I don’t get intimidated or nervous around international stars. Because I feel like I’m still going to meet and work and collaborate with many more international artists.

“I also have something to bring to the table. A lot of people want to feature international artists so that they can get huge, but I can do that by myself. I can get my people, my fans, to do anything an international artist could,” he told TshisaLIVE in a recent interview.

In fact, Emtee revealed that his international plans have only just begun and that he planned to work with US muso Torey Lanez on a track in the next few months.

“I want to work with Torey Lanez, which I’m on top of at the moment. I like and respect him. We are the same age. He is more of an artist than a rapper, which I respect about him. In the future I want to work with female international artists, travel the world and come home to feature local artists every now and then,” Emtee said of his grand plans.

Emtee worked on a track with Trey Songz on this season of Coke Studio. The final episode airs on 19 November, where you’ll get to see our guy team up with Trey.

Make sure you don’t miss it. It’s going to be one banger of an episode.

Coke Studio airs on Saturdays, e.tv, 6:05pm.
