I haven’t sold my “bobolebobo” song to NDC– Gospel musician

The composer of gospel song “Bobolebobo”, Evangelist Isaac K. Aning has rubbished claims that he has sold his song to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he explained that, he has sold his hit song to the opposition party to use as campaign song for the 2020 elections.

Dressed in all white, with his wife, Lordina Mahama in attendance, the former president of Ghana, John Mahama danced to a remixed version of the popular gospel song but the gospel musician has refuted claims that he has given it out to the party.

He told Andy Dosty that, “I have not sold my song to the NDC. I haven’t
given the right to no one.”

“If you tell anyone that NDC has given you
money, they tag you. Sometimes the audience needs to be educated. Even if
people call me to perform, it’s my work. How come you do music for World Cup,
but it becomes a problem with a political party?”
he queried.
