Dinamo Brest striker Joel Fameyeh is optimistic the Black Meteors will record a convincing victory against Togo in their bid to qualify for the 2019 U-23 Afcon.
The former Asokwa Deportivo marksman believes winn1ing massively against the Togolese side on Tuesday will make the return leg a mere formality. Ghana will host Togo on Tuesday 18th December, 2018 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the first leg of the U-23 AFCON Qualifier and Fameyeh says the current players in camp are capable of punishing their West African compatriots.
Speaking to SportsworldGhana.com exclusively from the team’s Hotel, he said ‘’ I think we have a good team taking into consideration the training we’ve had so far. We have what it takes to win on Tuesday.”
The Dinamo Brest goal poacher however, says the team must not only win but ‘must win massively to make the reverse leg in Togo an easy task for them.
”We must win massively in other to make the second leg a mere formality for us.”
Fameyeh, 21, scored 17 goal for Brest striker in the just ended Belarusian Premier League, five better than he scored last season.
