Popular Dancehall/Reggae artiste Samini born Emmanuel Andrews Samini has disclosed that for Patapaa to get another hit, it will be a challenge to him.
His assertion was in accordance to Patapaa’s lose at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to the ‘My Own’ hit maker, the Swedru based ‘Jama’ artiste Patapaa Amisty should have won something with ‘One Corner’ because the song was all over the world.
In an interview with Ghana’s finest radio/TV presenter Abeiku Santanna on the ATUU show, he said: “I was disappointed Patapaa didn’t win anything at VGMA. I don’t have anything against whoever won over Patapaa, but I think he should have won something with ‘One Corner’. To get another ‘One Corner’,there will be a challenge”.
Samini, while stating that he was a fan of Patapa, asked Ghanaians to stop mocking him.
The Highgrade family boss further stated that he was impressed with Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ which is played ‘everywhere’. According to Samini, Patapaa good job done will take him places.
“I love surprise stories like that, and it proves that there’s a living God who blesses his children, when they are not even aware because nobody expected Patapaa to blow and now he’s going places”. he said
