WaxPrint Media will host Marketing Decoded, its interactive marketing series on the 23rd of May at the Empower Office Suites.

The session will focus on Public Relations and Media Awareness in building a brand and is produced in partnership with Africa Communications Week, an annual global campaign happening from 21 to 25 May in 20 cities across Africa and Europe.

The theme for this year’s edition is “Economic Integration in Africa: Opportunities for Communications”.

Speakers including Nana Opoku W.O. Agyeman, CEO of Asoriba, Dominic Andoh, Deputy Editor of Business & Financial Times and Muhammida El Muhajir, Director of Strategy at WaxPrint Media, will empower entrepreneurs and marketing professionals with insight on the importance, power and ‘How To’ of utilizing the platform of media to build and grow your brand.

Nana Opoku W.O Agyeman
CEO at Asoriba

Nana Opoku W.O Agyeman is CEO and Co-Founder of Ghanaian startup, Asoriba Inc., a software company that provides software and technology mainly to churches and Christian organizations.

Asoriba was named the Ghanaian startup of the year 2015 and awarded the Best African Startup at the inaugural Seedstars Africa Event held in Casablanca, Morocco.

Nana has secured media coverage for Asoriba in a number of local and international media including being named by Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 in 2016 as well as features in outlets such as France24, Aljazeera, CNN and BBC.

Dominick Andoh
Deputy Editor of The Business and Financial Times
Lecturer at Pentecost University College

Dominick Andoh is the Deputy Editor at Ghana’s leading business newspaper, The Business and Financial Times and a lecturer at Pentecost University College who was adjudged the Best Financial Reporter at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards in 2016.

Mr. Andoh has in-depth knowledge of Public Relations, and Marketing and holds an MBA from the University of Professional Studies in Marketing.

Muhammida El Muhajir
Director of Strategy at WaxPrint Media

Muhammida El Muhajir is a global brand/digital marketing and media consultant, entrepreneur and filmmaker with extensive international travel/study/work experience in Europe, Asia, Latin America, The Caribbean, and Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, South Africa).

She is the Director of Strategy at WaxPrint Media, a West African based media/digital marketing agency and has worked with some of the world’s most innovative brands including Nike, Apple, Pepsico, Jaguar, Land Rover and Remy Martin.
